    1. Sex, sex, and more sex, of course. A quite enjoyable (and hot) read if you're in the mood for that. I started out "in the mood," per se, but got to 70% and was basically just skimming the pages. I think any of these stories would work very well as longer standalone stories and I would've enjoyed them more like that.

    2. This is a follow-up of sorts to the Cherry anthology that I really enjoyed. It’s not a follow-up in the sense of following the same characters, but the same concept, firsts, but not only sexual firsts, any kind of first really, but often sexual. I liked some more than others with most anthologies, I’ll just mention the ones that stood out for me.Going Home Again by Kiernan Kelly – Starting in 1969, 9 year old Daniel is stuck in Atlantic City with his family, but can’t have fun in the wat [...]

    3. "Cherry on Top" is a nine story anthology that centers on the theme of firsts. Whether it’s the first time for sex, topping, being with a man, being in public, or any variation, these stories explore two men doing something different for them. There are two stories that play off existing series from the authors, but everything can be read on its own easily. As a quick, amusing anthology the collection is decent with a few stand out stories. The best of the bunch are those at the start with a gr [...]

    4. The stories were a mixed bag: I liked the Syd McGinley one the best, as, in a nice change, it addresses a sub who isn't happy or fulfilled being a sub. This left me itching to read what's going to happen (or already happened) with these characters, but sadly I cannot locate a full novel about them. EDIT: OMG how dumb am I? Answer = very. The sub from the story is, of course, Dr John Fell himself. I totally didn't pick that, because I've always thought Dr Fell was an asshole, and I liked the sub [...]

    5. In several stories I found the ending very abrupt and unsatisfactory. Going Home Again by Kiernan Kelly - 3,5 starsA Better Fate than Wisdom by Lee Benoit - DNFGreen Carnations by G.S. Wiley - 2 stars Stairway to Evan by G.R. Richards - 1.5 stars The Bad Boyfriend Club and How I Left It by Tracy Rowan - 2 starsThe Ivory Dungeon by Syd McGinley - 1 starMy Best Friend by BG Thomas - 2 starsCooking Lesson by Miza Izanaki - 2 stars Sweet Cherry, A Hammer Story by Sean Michael - 3 stars

    6. I got this book for the stories The Ivory Dungeon by Syd McGinley, a Dr. John Fell story, in fact the first in the series chronologically and Sweet Cherry, A Hammer Story by Sean Michael Both stories are parts of series that I read and both were welcome additions to them.I have yet to read the other stories but am hopeful I will find something I will enjoy.

    7. I only read the short story by Sean Michael which is part of the Hammer series I am currently finishing but hope to read the rest of the book at a later date. There are quite a few authors listed in this book that I haven't experienced yet so holding out hope for good things to come later

    8. This was a great anthology and great way to finish out the month of February. Every story was a real treat and I found the Hammer story very unique and a great addition to the story.

    9. Very good anthology. I liked all the stories for a change. Usually anths are hit and miss, with some terrific pieces, some that just don't work. all of these were good.
