Free At Last is an excellent resource for those who are interested in learning about slavery beginning with Abraham Lincoln to the Thirteenth Amendment.I truly enjoyed reading the letters from slaves arguing why they and their families should be free and allowed to remain together as family.I pitied those who argued to keep slavery in tact.Free At Last is not a single author’s opinion but mostly a collection of letters from private citizens and politicians.Free At Last is a must read.
